Lauren Swimwear Collection Digital Pattern

This is a digital copy. The order of assembly is printable on A4 and the pattern is printable in a print shop as it is a larger pattern sheet or you can print the A4 pattern sheets and stick them together.

This pattern consists of a low back one piece or a mid back one piece, racer back crop bikini (great yoga top) and six different cut bikini bottom options. The Lauren is so versatile it makes beautiful lingerie as well - bodysuits, crop and knickers. Endless sewing opportunities!

What you can make.....

Swimsuit with low back or mid height back - with six different options for the cut at the leg/bottom areas. Three cuts are on the one piece patterns and the other three on the bikini patterns. There is a bust lining option for additional support and a separate gusset piece for lining only the gusset. Instructions include how to insert cups into the bust lining piece too if desired, as well as full front lining instructions.

A Bikini top with a racer back cross over style. This makes up beautifully as a yoga/crop top too. As above, if desired, you can insert cups into the lining. This top is a slip on style.

Bikini bottoms - high waisted height with a shorten line to allow for lowered cuts as desired (details are in the order of assembly) Gusset piece for lining gusset only if desired and full lining instructions provided as well. Bottom styles are Full Cut - Mid Cut - Brazilian Cut - String Cut - Low Cut - High Cut.

Polyester thread is recomended for lingerie sewing and stretch needles for your sewing machine. Silk pins also prevent damage to delecate lingerie fabrics and laces.

All Booby Traps patterns are in Australian body sizes.

Pattern size guide

Condition of Purchase: All rights in each pattern purchased are exclusive to Booby Traps Pty Ltd and the purchase of a pattern from this website only permits you to use the pattern for your own personal, non-commercial, use. You also agree that the pattern(s) purchased will not be on sold, hired, lent, or used in any manner whatsoever that will result in you or a third party receiving a financial benefit from it, including (but not limited to) use in workshops, sewing classes, seminars, or other educational endeavours.

Paper sizes for printing

A4 paper = 210mm x 197mm
A3 paper = 297mm x 420mm
Large scale pattern sheet = size varies depending on the pattern and should be printed in a print shop

If you are unable to get the A3 pages printed on an A3 printer or at a print shop (as is recommneded), you can use the 'tile only large pages' option most A4 printers have under the page size and handling. They will print across many pages and you can stick them together. There is a scale box to ensure you are printing to scale. Please know Booby Traps always receomends you print on the recommended size A3 printer. Larger pattern sheets must be printed in a print shop.

Great designs - digital patterns need work

I bought the digital pattern because I use a projector to cut out my material. The A4 pattern is not suitable as all pages have different rotations and overrlaps - not standard in pattern making. The large printshop file does not have layers so you have to project all sizes and then try to work it out. It would be great if you could update your patterns to incorporate current best practice in the Indi Pattern space. Also as any Aussie knows there is never any "Standard AU size". It is best practice also to put in a Measurements Chart and not let your customer base "Guess and Check"

The information on our patterns doesnt promise the delivery method you prefer however, and this review seems to be more about you specifically wanting something we didn't state we would provide. Product ratings are normally based on if you got what you paid for and if the pattern made up well, so others can see your opinion of the actual pattern. Ratings on your own personal digital delivery preferences are not normally done at a product level, but via email, and we are more than happy to see if we can cater to your specific demands.
The A4 pattern sizing is so people can print on their home printers and stick the pattern pieces together. These are not for projecting, nor are they listed as such.
As for the size issue, the recommended Australian Sizing fit is after over 50 years of many people mismeasuring and making a size thats not near their ready -to-wear. We have found measuring inaccuracies are happening more often than not, so the measurements we do provide with our patterns (perhaps you didn't download this) are enough to ensure a fit check for AU sizing against your own measurements.

Shipping within Australia is via Australia Post Parcel Send. You will have a tracking number attached to your order when it has been shipped. Please check your spam folder in case the email ends up there.

Shipping can be anywhere from 1 - 10 working days, depending on your location and other circumstances. Bra, Brief and other lingerie kits do take us a little longer to prepare as we like to make them when they are ordered to ensure all elastics etc are not sitting on our shelves here. Please note: We try to minimise our environmental impact and will not put small wire or component orders in separate bags.

We will try to use recycled or environmentally safe packaging where possible. We may also use recycled satchels if available.

Small orders - We know sometimes you only want a couple of bra rings and slides or a couple of pairs of wires and freight seems high for such small items. We have the flat rate there so we can track all orders and this rate is not negotiable, even for small items. This is because we use the same courier system and do not get cheaper rates for small items.

Large Orders - If purchasing in bulk amounts, free freight is no longer applicable. Please select it during checkout, and when your order is packed, we will weigh it and send a separate shipping invoice. Please understand, we cannot offer the discounted price along with free freight as the parcels often are quite heavy when you buy in bulk.

Standard shipping within Australia is a flat rate of $12.50 with a packing and handling fee of $2.50 per order. Parcels are handled via Australia Post Parcel Send.

The $15 shipping fee is non-negotiable and non-refundable.

Orders over $150 receive free freight option (this is not applicable for bulk buy purchases)

Express shipping is available at a flat rate cost of $25 within Australia. To ensure the parcel is sent on the day of ordering, the order must be in by 11am for a midday collection.

Lost/Delayed Parcels - If a parcel is lost in transit, it is no fault of Booby Traps as it is in the care of Australia Post. We will endeavour to assist you in trying to sort out the problem as promptly as possible. In some cases the parcel may simply need to be located and then it may arrive late. If you have insured your order, we can resend your parcel when Australia Post deems it lost.

Please Note: Booby Traps is not responsible for courier/Australia Post delays/damages. We hope customers can understand that when the parcel leaves our premises safely and promptly and is in the care of another business we cannot be responsible for any issues that may arise. These instances are not frequent but can happen.

If a delivery is attempted and the goods are not collected at the designated post office, Booby Traps is not responsible for returning the items back to the customer. On occasion, we can perhaps send the returned items with your next order. Please note: there are no refunds on any items returned to our warehouse because the courier could not deliver to the address provided.

Insurance is available when processing your orders and it is strongly recommended you select it. If you do not, this means you are accepting the risk of damage or loss yourself. Sadly Australia Post will not take liability if no insurance is added. We will do our best to assist you should you have problems, but cannot guarantee we can resend your order without insurance coverage.

Packing Times - We endeavour to ship items within one business day of receiving the order. On some occasions this is not possible, due to workshops, in-store customers and sewing classes, so parcels may be posted up to 3 business days after the order is processed.

Pick up in store is welcome, and the items must be pre-paid, so the order may be packed and ready for collection. Collection can be organised via Email. Please telephone or email to ensure the order is ready and organise a suitable time. Kindly ensure we have confirmed the pick up before coming into the warehouse.

Overseas shipping is most welcome. There is now no minimum order amount and all items are sent via Australia Post Parcel Send.

Please note: We have overseas freight prices in place for a 500 gram parcel only. In some cases, further freight fees may apply if a parcel is heavier than 500g. These additional freight fees are payable by the customer. We apologise for our website not being able to quote your order, but as we have so many tiny items, weight doesn't work correctly.

All items are shipped via Australia Post Track and Trace or express if selected. If you do not see your Country available when ordering please email us at info@boobytraps.com.au and inform us so we can try and sort it out for you.

Packing and Handling

Booby Traps is mindful of its environmental impact and we are constantly striving to reduce packaging waste. This means we try and use as little plastic as possible while packing our orders. We know on occasion, this means you may have to sort items, but we hope you can understand and share or mission to keep our planet healthy.

Packing and handling fees of $2.50 per order apply and is included in your freight through checkout. If selecting store pick up or free freight, this fee will be added independently.

Bra components such as rings, slides, suspender clips, bikini clips and components are packed in one envelope if ordering under 100 pieces. This is also to reduce packing waste. If you do not wish to have this, you must purchase extra envelopes during ordering.

Returns & Replacements

Returns are accepted in the form of exchange for incorrectly purchased items or in the case of faulty items, a refund is issued. Refunds or returns are only applicable provided the item is returned in the condition it was purchased in within one month of the date of purchase. Refunds are not issued for incorrectly chosen items, but in the case of the customer not finding a desirable item, a gift voucher can be issued.
Shipping costs are non-refundable. The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs of incorrectly purchased items.

Please note: All parcels are checked over twice as quality assurance. If items arrive damaged, we guarantee they did not leave that way. Please be careful when opening the satchels as cutting them may also cut your products. These products are not replaceable by Booby Traps.

Payment, Pricing & Promotions

Payment methods include Paypal, Mastercard, Visacard, Bankcard, Direct Deposit and cash (in store only).

Diners or Amex are not available.

Direct Deposit orders will only be sent when funds are cleared. Booby Traps does not run accounts.

Varied promotions are run on a regular basis. Booby Traps also runs Open Days, in order to be informed of those days, please register for our newsletter. We do not send out frequent newsletters, but if you do not wish to get them it is very easy to unsubscribe.
