Bra Cup Fabrics

Other than scallop edged lace, there are quite a few fabric choices for bra and bralette sewing patterns. Each pattern will call for the specifics, such as a 1-way stretch, 2-way stretch or non-stretch options. Most Booby Traps patterns are designed for 1-way stretch options, with a few requiring rigid or non-stretch fabric.

As scallop edge lace is so plentiful in our store, we have not included it in this category even though it is a fabulous and popular bra cup fabric. Fabric and lace fabric bra cup options require a finishing trim for the upper cups and centre front, galloon and narrow laces are ideal as well as folding elastics or narrow elastics.
