Have you ever thought about learning a new skill creates stylish and professional clothing and pamper items? Well these classes are for you!

Knitting and crochet is well known for it's theraputic qualities. Not only do you get to sit and relax, you create quality handmade items that stand out above the rest and last through the decades. Our knitting and crochet classes are designed to teach the basics or more complicated projects, you decide!

Not only do we have wonderful patterns to choose from, we also offer you the freedom of chosing your own project, and learning this wonderful craft in a relaxed and social environment. The classes are kept short, so you get a good amount of education but are not overwhelmed, then you can continue at home or come back and join us in a later class. When selecting a patetrn, all supplies can be purchased on the day of class if desired. Or you can collect the materials/tools and bring them to class. The cost covers tuiton only, so when choosing a pattern the price increases, as the pattern is printed and bound for you to take home.

Crochet basics - getting started! - A simple and fun way to learn this craft. This selection teaches the tools, casting on and off, stitches and how to read the patterns. If you are a fast learner, we can use the remaining time to start a project of your choice.

Crochet bikini & Crop Top - A modernised version of the classic crocheted bikini. The bikini top is shaped in a fitted crochet style to ensure nice bust support, and the pattern comes with an optional sewing pattern to allow you to line the bikini if desired. There are three strap options to choose from, and the crop top is an extended, longline version of the bikini top complete with optional crocheted tassles. The bikini bottoms are a gorgeous modernised cut, and the bikini top also has instructions to insert a moulded cup underneath.

Materials / Tools - Size 3.5 Crochet hook, 2 balls of 4 ply Sugar n Cream cotton yarn

Selene Knitted dress - A stunning knitted mini-dress, knee length dress or maxidress. Shaped beautifully over the bust, with a stylished pattern over the straps, this dress is like no other.

Knitted experience level - advanced

Materials / Tools - Size 8 - 10 needls 8 balls, 12 - 14 10 balls, 16 - 18 12 balls of Sirdar Snuggly cotton yarn, one 60cm circular needle size 8 (4mm) and/or one pair of size 8 (4mm) needles.

Patchwork Dress - a great way to learn the craft! This dress is made entirely from the traditional 'granny squares'. Learn each design and merge them into the same dress, or create your own style by crocheting your favourites. The pattern boasts both crochet and knitted squares of different difficulty levels, so you can learn as much a.s you like! The end result is a beautiful fitted crochet or knitted dress.

Materials / Tools - 4mm crochet hook or 4mm knitting needles, 4 (4 - 4mm) balls of Sugar n Cream cotton, Classique polyester or Sirdar Snuggly cashmere merino yarn.

Patchwork Bag & Scarf - a great way to learn the craft! These projects are made entirely from the traditional 'granny squares'. Learn each design and merge them into different products, or create your own style by crocheting your favourites. The pattern boasts both crochet and knitted squares of different difficulty levels, so you can learn as much as you like! The end results will impress you.

Pamper Pack - a selection of crocheted beauty items that are great for you and also to make as gifts for the lucky people in your life. The pattern consists of make up wipes, eye mask, Cute bunny ears headband great for use during make up application/ skincare regime and a bag to keep it all in.

Crochet experience level = beginner

Materials / Tools - 4mm crochet hook, 2 balls of Sugar n Cream cotton (may by 1 ball depending on what you are creating)

Crochet Clutch - a stylish crocheted clutch and a shoulder bag.

Crochet experience level = Moderate

Scarf Pattern - your choice of six styles, varying in skill levels. Choose from a plain, chequered, striped or cabled style scarf. A great way to start your knitting & crochet journey!

Knitting & Crochet experience level = beginner

Headband (neckwarmer) & Armbands Pattern - your choice of two knitted styles, varying in skill levels. The headband also doubles as a neckwarmer to keep th chill away. The armbands are a mitten style. A great way to keep you warm this winter and start your knitting journey!

Knitting experience level = beginner

Materials / Tools - TBA

The pattern of your choice - bring your own pattern and receive the guidance and experience from our knowledgable teachers, Lynn or Arne. We will happily guide you through any problematic or challenging patterns or teach you the basics!

The classes run for 2 hours and you can work at your own pace in a fun and vibrant surrounding.

Materials requirements are listed below for each project. Wool compositions are a recomendation only, and can be adjusted to suit your preferred wools. Try and be considerate of the finished project, and do not buy wools that are a large ply for a refined project. Have fun choosing your colours!

Information about the workshops

Class fees must be paid for at time of booking, not on the day of class, to ensure your seat is reserved.

Your class fee covers tuition. If you wish to select a pattern, it can be added to the order. Crochet hooks, knitting needles and yarn can be purchased here.

Classes are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend a class, we would appreciate notice in advance (illness aside as we know this is unavoidable). If you are unable to attentd, we can re-schedule you into another class date.

We unfortunately ay need to cancel a class if the minimum required number of students is not met. In this instance as much notice as possible will be given and fees may be transferred to another class of your choice.

Please note that there is a flight of stairs to get to the classroom.

Tea and coffee is provided.

What to bring to the knitting and crochet classes

Please bring the needles or crochet hook and wool required for your selected project. There are some knitting supplies available, with more on the way in the future.

It is recommended you bring a notepad and pen if desired to make notes.

Unit 25, 1-3 Jubilee Avenue, Warriewood NSW 2102

We are at the of the cul-de-sac in Jubilee Avenue (western end). Go past Auto Barn and keep following jubilee around the bend - do not tiurn into the first Northshore Business Park sign as we are on the lower level.

If you are running late or lost, please give us a call on 02 8411 1984 so we know you are on your way.

Parking is available outside our warehouse (please park in Unit 25 only) or on the street. The class is up 1 flight of stairs.

Shipping within Australia is via Australia Post Parcel Send. You will have a tracking number attached to your order when it has been shipped. Please check your spam folder in case the email ends up there.

Shipping can be anywhere from 1 - 10 working days, depending on your location and other circumstances. Bra, Brief and other lingerie kits do take us a little longer to prepare as we like to make them when they are ordered to ensure all elastics etc are not sitting on our shelves here. Please note: We try to minimise our environmental impact and will not put small wire or component orders in separate bags.

We will try to use recycled or environmentally safe packaging where possible. We may also use recycled satchels if available.

Small orders - We know sometimes you only want a couple of bra rings and slides or a couple of pairs of wires and freight seems high for such small items. We have the flat rate there so we can track all orders and this rate is not negotiable, even for small items. This is because we use the same courier system and do not get cheaper rates for small items.

Large Orders - If purchasing in bulk amounts, free freight is no longer applicable. Please select it during checkout, and when your order is packed, we will weigh it and send a separate shipping invoice. Please understand, we cannot offer the discounted price along with free freight as the parcels often are quite heavy when you buy in bulk.

Standard shipping within Australia is a flat rate of $12.50 with a packing and handling fee of $2.50 per order. Parcels are handled via Australia Post Parcel Send.

The $15 shipping fee is non-negotiable and non-refundable.

Orders over $150 receive free freight option (this is not applicable for bulk buy purchases)

Express shipping is available at a flat rate cost of $25 within Australia. To ensure the parcel is sent on the day of ordering, the order must be in by 11am for a midday collection.

Lost/Delayed Parcels - If a parcel is lost in transit, it is no fault of Booby Traps as it is in the care of Australia Post. We will endeavour to assist you in trying to sort out the problem as promptly as possible. In some cases the parcel may simply need to be located and then it may arrive late. If you have insured your order, we can resend your parcel when Australia Post deems it lost.

Please Note: Booby Traps is not responsible for courier/Australia Post delays/damages. We hope customers can understand that when the parcel leaves our premises safely and promptly and is in the care of another business we cannot be responsible for any issues that may arise. These instances are not frequent but can happen.

If a delivery is attempted and the goods are not collected at the designated post office, Booby Traps is not responsible for returning the items back to the customer. On occasion, we can perhaps send the returned items with your next order. Please note: there are no refunds on any items returned to our warehouse because the courier could not deliver to the address provided.

Insurance is available when processing your orders and it is strongly recommended you select it. If you do not, this means you are accepting the risk of damage or loss yourself. Sadly Australia Post will not take liability if no insurance is added. We will do our best to assist you should you have problems, but cannot guarantee we can resend your order without insurance coverage.

Packing Times - We endeavour to ship items within one business day of receiving the order. On some occasions this is not possible, due to workshops, in-store customers and sewing classes, so parcels may be posted up to 3 business days after the order is processed.

Pick up in store is welcome, and the items must be pre-paid, so the order may be packed and ready for collection. Collection can be organised via Email. Please telephone or email to ensure the order is ready and organise a suitable time. Kindly ensure we have confirmed the pick up before coming into the warehouse.

Overseas shipping is most welcome. There is now no minimum order amount and all items are sent via Australia Post Parcel Send.

Please note: We have overseas freight prices in place for a 500 gram parcel only. In some cases, further freight fees may apply if a parcel is heavier than 500g. These additional freight fees are payable by the customer. We apologise for our website not being able to quote your order, but as we have so many tiny items, weight doesn't work correctly.

All items are shipped via Australia Post Track and Trace or express if selected. If you do not see your Country available when ordering please email us at info@boobytraps.com.au and inform us so we can try and sort it out for you.

Packing and Handling

Booby Traps is mindful of its environmental impact and we are constantly striving to reduce packaging waste. This means we try and use as little plastic as possible while packing our orders. We know on occasion, this means you may have to sort items, but we hope you can understand and share or mission to keep our planet healthy.

Packing and handling fees of $2.50 per order apply and is included in your freight through checkout. If selecting store pick up or free freight, this fee will be added independently.

Bra components such as rings, slides, suspender clips, bikini clips and components are packed in one envelope if ordering under 100 pieces. This is also to reduce packing waste. If you do not wish to have this, you must purchase extra envelopes during ordering.

Returns & Replacements

Returns are accepted in the form of exchange for incorrectly purchased items or in the case of faulty items, a refund is issued. Refunds or returns are only applicable provided the item is returned in the condition it was purchased in within one month of the date of purchase. Refunds are not issued for incorrectly chosen items, but in the case of the customer not finding a desirable item, a gift voucher can be issued.
Shipping costs are non-refundable. The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs of incorrectly purchased items.

Please note: All parcels are checked over twice as quality assurance. If items arrive damaged, we guarantee they did not leave that way. Please be careful when opening the satchels as cutting them may also cut your products. These products are not replaceable by Booby Traps.

Payment, Pricing & Promotions

Payment methods include Paypal, Mastercard, Visacard, Bankcard, Direct Deposit and cash (in store only).

Diners or Amex are not available.

Direct Deposit orders will only be sent when funds are cleared. Booby Traps does not run accounts.

Varied promotions are run on a regular basis. Booby Traps also runs Open Days, in order to be informed of those days, please register for our newsletter. We do not send out frequent newsletters, but if you do not wish to get them it is very easy to unsubscribe.
