We are open the following hours through the school holidays.

Please call us before you come for a visit as we are happy to open up the Warehouse by appointment outside the hours listed below.

Dear Customers,

We endeavour to commit to the above hours, but sometimes the open hours may change, and please consider, we are a warehouse and not a shop front.

Unfortunately we have also had to reduce weekend open hours due to lack of security. We have increased weekly open hours to accomodate this. However, if a sewing workshop is running, we are also open to the public at this time for shopping.

Outside this, please phone in advance and organise an appointment.

Our Story....

Booby Traps was established over 30 years ago by Jill Bradshaw. We supply bra kits to sewing fans around Australia and parts of America. We also have our own Booby Traps Bra making DVD and video and our lovely BOO3 bra pattern - A structured bra that is comfortable to wear and easy to make. Our BOO2 bra kits are also available in a number of colour options, and the end result is a beautiful all lace bra.

Booby Traps sells direct from our warehouse as a wholesaler to other businesses including swimwear, lingerie and bra-making small businesses. We also sell direct to the public and stock a number of bra fabrics, including Elastane and Powernet, folding elastic, facing elastics, bra strapping, underwires, moulded cups, laces, fabrics, patterns, needles and other haberdashery items.

The warehouse is set-up and conducts sewing classes and workshops on a regular basis. To see what classes we are currently running please visit our workshops page.

Booby Traps is a dedicated Bernina supporter. We offer special thanks to Bernina Chatswood, who have kindly offered our students and customers the trial use of some beautiful new Bernina sewing machines!

The business is now under new ownership and we have many new exciting bra kits, brief kits and lingerie kits to be released. Our newest addition is the ready-to-sew lingerie kit, which is a simple but sexy slip design for sleepwear or as an undergarment.
