Lynn Goodrick has been sewing since she was 8 years old. She has taught at Tafe for many years, and always worked in the sewing industry.
Lynn runs our General Sewing classes at Booby Traps. She is extremely passionate and highly skilled in all areas of sewing and can easily guide students through any project they wish to work on.
Lynns classes allow students to bring their own sewing challenge and get the required assistance from an experienced professional. Our students range from groups just enjoying week to week sewing assistance to specialised projects and high school major works projects to beginners. The classes are socially fun and very helpful for gathering further sewing skills.
Jans love of Embroidery and Quilting soon led her to the field of teaching, which then became her passion. Jan enjoys running Booby Traps specialised Workshops in the fields of machine embroidery, quilting, design software and overlocking.
Jan is a firm believer in the fact that we can always learn something new from another tutor, and she enjoys the opportunity to pass this information on.
Jan has had regular articles published in the Australian magazines Machine Embroidery and Textile Art and Stitches. In 2007 Jan was awarded the standard of excellence, two first places for quilting and a highly commended at the Sydney Easter Show.
Jans Workshops are fun and informative, you will leave with an incredibly exquisite result, alot of laughs and world of knowledge!
