This is the digital copy - must be printed on A4 paper for the Order Of Assembly and the Pattern Sheets must be printed on A3 paper.

Our BOO3 bra pattern is your staple bra pattern! It has been used by a lot of bra makers, for many years, due to its split cup and classic fit. Choose either the first edition or second edition to suit your style. The BOO3 pattern comes in 3 size ranges currently, and offers both a 1st and 2nd edition bra shape.

The 1st edition is a slightly pointed cup with a more 70's-80's shape. Preferred by some for the balance and position of the bust, creating a point for clothing to hang well off the bust, and henceforth creating a curvy hourglass figure.

The 2nd edition has a slightly rounder cup shape and sits the bust further to the centre. This will enhance the cleavage and also modernises the bra shape.

This BOO3 pattern covers sizes 1st Edition 10A-DD, 12A-DD, 14 A-DD and 2nd Edition covers up to E cups for size 14. For other BOO3 pattern sizes, look under the bra pattern menu. This pattern is suitable for medium - advanced bra sewists.

Materials Requirements for sizes 10 – 14 - 0.3m of Tricot, 0.3m of Powernet, 1m of at least 16cm wide firm stretch lace or rigid lace, 1m of 10mm,12mm or 19mm bra strap elastic, rings and slides to match, 1m of 12mm facing elastic, 1m of 15mm facing elastic, 1m of 12mm underwire casing, pair of underwires, 2 or 3 hook and eye tab and motif or bra charm. Polyester thread is recomended for lingerie sewing and stretch needles for your sewing machine.

• A4 paper = 210mm x 197mm (width x height)
• A3 paper = 497mm x 420mm (width x height)
• Large scale pattern sheet = size varies depending on the pattern and should be printed in a print shop

If you are unable to get the A3 pages printed on an A3 printer or at a print shop (as is recommneded), you can use the 'tile only large pages' option most A4 printers have under the page size and handling. They will print across many pages and you can stick them together. There is a scale box to ensure you are printing to scale. Please know Booby Traps always receomends you print on the recommended size A3 printer. Larger pattern sheets must be printed in a print shop.
